We are happy to welcome four new artists to Harp Column Music! Please say hello to (from left) Nadia Birkenstock, Kim Robertson, Marcia Dickstein, and Daniele Garella.
Nadia Birkenstock is a harpist, singer and composer based in Germany and in France. She joins HCM with “First Snow,” an original composition great for the holidays or any time. Nadia is mostly known for her creative and varied song arrangements and evocative instrumental compositions. She has released numerous CDs and tours and teaches internationally. Musical collaborations have lead to various expanded arrangements of her songs, including celtic harp and voice with string quartet or four part choir. Look for more from Nadia coming soon!
Kim Robertson hardly needs an introduction in the harp world! The renowned performer, recording artist, and arranger has stretched the boundaries of the harp for a new generation of performers and audiences with favorites like “Shenandoah.” As a pioneer in the American folk harp movement, she combines an improvisational spirit with a passionate sense of tradition, bringing a contemporary touch to a centuries-old instrument. Kim is also a master teacher at Harp Column Academy. We are thrilled to offer her downloads!
