All these little bluesy pieces by Amanda Whiting and Tony Robinson are just great. They are very playable and even sightreadable by experienced harpists, but their jazzy edgy harmonies and offbeat rhthyms put them way ahead of the pack. They sound more difficult than they are, which is always fun! I imagine how thrilling some of these might be to an advanced beginning adult harp student, who already has a musical background. These are not Celtic folk songs or pieces about lost dolls! My only problem with them is their expense. At $6 each, and they are pretty short pieces, the temptation to buy all thirteen would cost a steep $78, and this is before we have printed them on our own nice paper, bound them in some sort of book, and maybe even suffered grave printer malfunctions, the way i always seem to. What can be done about this?
