Originally composed in 1919 for piano and string quartet, this “Lullaby” by George Gershwin appears here in an arrangement for pedal harp, flute, and cello, by Nancy O'Brien. Gershwin originally composed the piece while he was studying harmony but later used the melody in his opera Blue Monday. The harp part can also work as a solo.
