Deck the Halls/O Christmas Tree Medley
$10.00
This Christmas medley by Joy Slavens combines “Deck the Halls” and “O Christmas Tree” into one fun and entertaining piece for two lever or pedal harps. Players can expect to encounter harmonics, 3-note chords, and glissandos, but no accidentals. Both parts get the chance to play the melody. Makes a great addition to a Christmas ensemble concert.
This piece is available as a PDF download for $10.00. (Download includes score and parts.)
Length: Score is 9 pgs.; parts are 4 pgs.
Duration: 3:00

This is a charming arrangement and fun to play. It’s a shame the engraving/layout is not better. There is no excuse for FIVE ledger lines above the bass clef, as happens several times – that part should be written in the treble clef! (Either by putting stems up/stems down on one staff, or changing the bottom staff temporarily to treble clef.) And page turns in harp 2 are impossible, which would have been easily solved simply by moving a few measures from page 2 onto page 3.
