Notes from the Composer
Each piece is meant to convey Vancouver’s seasons: the glorious summer on the ocean, flower-filled spring, misty fall and wet winter. Even on the gloomiest day, Vancouver is still beautiful, and the music brings that out.

Elizabeth Volpé Bligh's Seasons in Vancouver Suite is an original solo for lever or pedal harp. Written gradually over a number of years, “Fall in Vancouver” and “Spring in Vancouver” were included in her Solos for Lever or Pedal Harp published in 2007. “Winter in Vancouver” was written in time to be performed at the opening gala of the World Harp Congress in 2011 and “Summer in Vancouver” was written after the Congress was over. “Winter” and “Summer” are available separately but this publication brings all four pieces together under one cover. See below for further notes from the composer and a video.
This piece is available as a PDF download for $8.00.
