Deck the Hall
$4.00 – $12.00
“Deck the Hall—Variations in the style of Bach/Gounod, Mozart, Schubert, and Strauss” has been arranged for 2 pedal harps by Diane Michaels. Each variations borrows (heavily) from a familiar piece of classical music—the Bach/Gounod “Ave Maria,” Mozart Piano Sonata No. 3, Schubert’s “Unfinished” Symphony and Strauss’ “On the Beautiful Blue Danube” waltz.

- Score only: $8.00

This piece jumps around so much from style to style that it doesn’t retain a Christmas like feel. The melody is often hard to hear, and it is easy to forget that it is supposed to be Deck the Halls. This arrangement also has a lot of awkward passages that do not work well to play on the harp.
