Willi Maerz has arranged the popular harp solo “Chanson de Mai,” by Alphonse Hasselmans, for four pedal harps. “Not only is the “Chanson de Mai” a typical example of a virtuoso composition for harp, it also represents a magnificent example of the catchy melodies and elegant harmonies of the French Romantic period,” says Maerz.
